A young woman named Ava reads a poem to confess her love to her girlfriend in a poem that chronologizes their relationship. Hello everyone. This film was shot in the Fall of 2018 and while there was originally going to be more of a framing narrative around the film, a few unexpected production issues hit, and then senior year rolled around. I had to focus on my capstone, Transcending Time. The framing narrative was originally going to be a poetry slam, and the animatics exist for that original version. If there's enough interest, I might upload it sometime. The slam never got shot and I was unsure what do to with the film that I had. However, I've really come to appreciate what this film is. It's not big or anything super special, it's just short and sweet. That's all it needs to be. Now since COVID has hit all of us pretty hard, I figured this film has sat around on a hard drive long enough. So I hope you this wholesome little queer film. I went to the Cannes Film Festival this year! I was a member of the student program with the American Pavilion, after receiving a scholarship from The Colin Higgins Foundation that allowed me to go.
